The comfortable Guests' Lounge
and Dining Room are rich with restored Victorian character
and are available to guests at all reasonable times.
Both rooms
are on the ground floor facing the front of the house with excellent views
across the south-west of Whitehaven. Original open fires create a warm and cosy atmosphere
when brought into use during those dark winter evenings.
A flight
of steps takes guests up to the garden terrace amongst a
Landscaped Garden
to be enjoyed on lighter, warmer evenings.
Colour television and DVD player in the lounge.
Residents' license allowing table service in the lounge, dining room and on the terrace.
We are happy to provide table settings for guests to enjoy their own "take-away" meals.
A wide selection of books, films, maps and guides are available. We are always delighted to suggest daily itineraries for guests to explore and enjoy the beauty of western Lakeland and the Cumbrian coast whether by car, bicycle or on foot.
