From the North Exit the M6 at Junction 43 (Carlisle)and take the A595 towards Cockermouth then to Whitehaven.

From the East Take the A66 to Cockermouth.

From the South - three options: quicker routes are either the M6 to Junction 40 (Penrith) and take the A66 to Cockermouth or M6 to Junction 36 (Kendall) and A595 towards Barrow. Take the fell road over Corney to rejoin the A595. The scenic (and recommended) route is M6 to Junction 36 then A591 to Windermere - Ambleside and Keswick then A66 to Cockermouth.

Ignore the first right turn to Whitehaven (by the BP garage) and continue along the A595 for several miles. At the traffic lights signed A5094 Whitehaven Town Centre turn right.

Glenfield is 1/2 mile down the hill on the right hand side and on-street parking is available in Front Corkickle immediately opposite, in front and above Hamilton Terrace on the same side as Glenfield and in Foxhouses Lane also opposite Glenfield.
