The comfortable Guests' Lounge and Dining Room are rich with restored Victorian character and are available to guests at all reasonable times.

Real fires create a warm and cosy atmosphere when brought into use during those dark winter evenings.

We hold a full Residents' license and provide table service in the lounge, dining room and on the terrace. We are happy to provide table settings in the Dining Room for guests to enjoy their own "take-away" meals.

A wide selection of books, maps and guides are available. We are always delighted to suggest daily itineraries for guests to explore and enjoy the beauty of western Lakeland and the Cumbrian coast whether by car, bicycle or on foot.
